PART ONE: Albert is a curious six-year-old. He draws pictures of everything that is important to him. When he draws pictures of himself, he is a superhero with a cape and a big red “A” on his shirt. For many nights, Albert is visited by a mystical unicorn who always reminds him that he is brave. He proves her right when he, with the unicorn’s help, rescues the neighbor’s dog, Rusty, from a very deep well.
PART TWO: Now, seven years old, Albert spends lots of time with his friend, Becky, who lives across the street, One night, Becky’s father joins the two of them up in the tree house that they had helped to build, and tells them a ghost story. Albert is surprised to hear that the story might very well be true. He is further surprised when the story includes a unicorn and something that Albert has hidden in his special box. A skeleton key.
